You're probably wondering how someone from London started a Japanese-inspired clothing brand. The idea started when I (the founder) stayed in Japan for an extended amount of time and saw so many graphic tees and illustrations, but nothing that really captured the atmosphere and awe-inspiring vibe of the culture. The real life photography definitely captures this better, and so came the birth of Koi Club Apparel. I travelled around Tokyo, Osaka (my favourite area), Kyoto, Okinawa, Kobe and Kamakura, and each place had its' own distinct presence, one that couldn't be replicated through graphical illustrations. I'd love to be able to continue creating awesome designs that remind you of Japanese culture, so if you have any suggestions feel free to let me know!

I have spent a lot of time particularly in Osaka and I'm always in awe of the fashion, especially around Amerika-Mura and Orange street. Styles are iconic, fashion is individualistic and people love to stand out - I always describe it as hood-hipster; 100% of the fashion, 0% of the attitude. Everyone is extremely friendly and always happy to help style your outfit choices. Although I've always wanted to do something creative, after seeing this I knew that I wanted to start a clothing brand - the birth of Koi Club Apparel.

So here we go - Koi Club Apparel is a Japanese-inspired streetwear clothing brand based in London that celebrates the fusion of traditional Japanese culture with modern urban fashion. Our collections are a reflection of this unique blend, capturing the essence of Japanese culture while embracing contemporary style. We aim to provide a platform for Japanese culture enthusiasts to connect with authentic and distinctive streetwear, delivering iconic styles to the UK, USA, Canada and more.

Based in the UK, KC aims to be the place to buy premium, stylish and on-trend Japanese-inspired streetwear online, including sweatshirts, hoodies, t-shirts and more.

Designs, social media content, and updates are all ongoing, with new social media posts uploaded frequently. From new designs, questions and reels, I'll keep trying to make each post engaging for everyone, so that it doesn't just turn into a posting-page, but rather a community where everyone who loves Japanese culture can come together!
